The S2 McCarty 594 comes with a maple top paired with a slightly thicker mahogany back for even more sustain than similar style solid body guitars. The flame maple top showcases vibrant flames and the Lake Blue finish is especially refreshing. The set mahogany neck comes with a Pattern Vintage neck profile, which is a thicker profile that fits the hands really well for less fatigue. The bound rosewood fingerboard comes with 22 frets and is adorned with classic PRS bird inlays.
Loaded with American made 58/15 LT humbucking pickups, this S2 McCarty brings you thick vintage-style tones with plenty of warmth. Throw in the bonus of splitting the coils and you have an expanded range of tones to choose from. Whether it's thick cut rhythm tones or sweet chimey single-coil tones, you are covered! Clean or distorted, these pickups deliver! It's super easy to find your favorite sounds too, thanks to its individual volume and tone controls for each pickup. The push/pull knobs let you dial in the single-coil tones with ease.
